Our approach was to start with basics: what did they have? We conducted a thorough inventory of all IT assets and applications. Documenting interdependencies, we developed a roadmap for migrating workloads to Microsoft Azure. We utilized our extensive cloud Solution Architect bench to help maximize their Azure investments and designed landing zones to enable migrations through 2023. Expected results, besides simplifying & standardizing their IT footprint, also include an approximately 20%+ reduction in Infrastructure OpEx.
A large global Health Sciences company was experiencing growth pains due to both unprecedented demand and a litany of acquisitions that quadrupled the size of the company in two years. They had five North American data center, two European ones, and a large number of disparate IT “closets” and cloud instances.
